Cracker Island is the eighth studio album by Gorillaz, released February 24, 2023 following the release of their 2021 EP Meanwhile; the 20th Anniversary Edition of Gorillaz, released in 2021; and their 2020 album Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez. It features collaborations with Stevie Nicks, Adeleye Omotayo, Thundercat, Tame Impala, Bad Bunny, Bootie Brown and Beck. A deluxe edition was released on 27 February with five additional tracks featuring the artists De La Soul, MC Binn, Del the Funky Homosapien and Dawn Penn. I had high hopes for this, especially because Gorillaz' last project, Song Machine, was
suprisingly good. Also the single for this album, Cracker Island, was really catchy. It even had Thundercat on it, but I just did not enjoy this. At all.
